Available from the USDA's Team Nutrition Program, these grants assist State agencies that administer NSLP, SBP, and CACFP in improving children's lifelong eating and physical activity habits using the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and MyPlate.

USDA Farm to School Grant Program

This grant helps schools connect with local producers and teach kids where their food comes from. These funds support activities ranging from training and developing partnerships, to purchasing equipment, planting school gardens, and organizing field trips.

Safe Schools/Healthy Students Grants

These grants support the development and implementation of a comprehensive plan of activities, services, and strategies to decrease youth violence and promote the healthy development of children and youth.
