Nutrient Analysis Software Approved by USDA

Under the Final Rule: Nutrition Standards in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs (1/26/12) school menus for breakfast and lunch are required to meet dietary specifications (nutrient standards) for calories, saturated fat, and sodium. Menu Planning Tools Approved for Certification for Six Cent Reimbursement

The tools listed at this link are approved by USDA to certify schools as eligible for the six cent reimbursement under the Healthy, Hunger Free Kids Act. This page is the official list of the only tools that may be used for certification of compliance with the current meal pattern.
